Many of the counselors also have visual or performing arts experience and enjoy sharing their training with students. Interior filming takes place at our other facilities.
Small crews of are always supervised by Teaching Assistants. Weekend activities are mandatory for housed students and include daylong trips. Counselors attend and supervise these outings. Activities take place nearly every weeknight as well, and these are optional. In previous years these have included: going to the movies, museums, theatre, shopping, bowling, laser tag, among others. An average of 14 counselors live at the residence who plan and supervise these outings. All campers may take part in o rganized evening and weekend activities including screenings, visits to amusement parks, and of course, the beach.
Commuting students are welcome to join all activities, however, extra cost may apply. Arrangements can be made with the New York Film Academy to include housing during their program with rates detailed in Housing Options. Campers are not required to reside with the New York Film Academy in order to attend the workshop. Campers who require housing but choose not to participate in our residential program under the care and supervision of the New York Film Academy residential staff must find alternate housing facilities.

Child Success Center provides pediatric therapy in a and supportive way. This summer learning academy is designed for children in kindergarten to eighth grade. Each camp program is a single discipline runs for one week. All programs are tailored to meet the needs of each child and groups are small to provide each child.
